I support our business to run employability programmes for people with care experience as part of the John Lewis Partnership Building Happier Futures programme. We work with people who have experience in foster care, and residential care, are adopted or have been in kinship care where a family friend or relative takes on the parental role. We do this as people with care experience face barriers to employment and education through no fault of their own.
